...Where Should I start?
Well...last week I had the opportunity to go to Chaing Mai to take part in the USMLE workshop.
It's kinda like a tutoring course but most of the tutors are the professors from the Texas Tech University from USA that is...and the others are the Thais professors that have passed the board exam and have been studying in the US before.
85% of the lecture was in english because they said if you want to go abroad you must practice english (but still...the purpose of me coming here was to prepare for the Thai NL. - -") but I guess I'll try practicing it by composing a blog in english for now.
But despite the lectures were in english I thought it was quite interesting...
Ok, back to the main story,
That was my first time in ChaingMai (I think - -") but becauseof the tutoring was so tough (8 hours a day + 1 hour lunch break T^T) I didn't have much time to go sightseeing and I even felt like I haven't had enough sleep too.(I had to try my best not to fall asleep in class which was very hard because normally I slept like 80% of all classes. - -" ) But I managed to skip class and went to Chaing Mai zoo anyway. ^^"
At the Chaing Mai zoo, I don't think there's much to see. The hightlights are the pandas, koalas, penguins and the seals (seeing how much they advertise them - -" ). Being here you can clearly see that this place lacks maintainance (exept the pandas' cages - -") but the veiw around the zoo is nice.
I haven't got any souveniers exept lots of powerpoints, lecture DVDs, Texts file and such...how sad. ToT
Last, I hope I'll do well in the exams. >.<
